Pots for sale...
• • • Here are the last of my pots • • •
For now, my pottery life is hibernating in storage until I find a new studio. I want to honor this in-between chapter by savoring the pieces that remain and sharing them with you. The first ten sales will include a gift piece of pottery.
I’m working on new ideas for the coming year. I hope to paint more and offer more online classes. Is there something you’d love to see me teach, either online or in person?
Painting this apple was pure fun. It brought me right back to being a resourceful teenager on a meager budget, making gifts for my friends. One of my favorite gifts I made was a painted t-shirt with the apple on a rope from the Pale Sun Crescent Moon Cowboy Junkies album cover
I think my art “career” began around then, back when I spent hours making mixed tapes and collaging the covers for friends. Nearly every dollar I had was spent on magazines, glue, and blank cassettes. Looking back, it feels like those early creations were the first real seeds of everything I do now. I miss that time when my friends and I shared our imaginations freely, trading little pieces of ourselves in the form of art and music, and discovering just how much joy could come from creating something by hand. I suppose that’s what I’m still doing today, only now, I’m trying to make a living from it.
Feeling nostalgic… I made you a mixed tape…
I was thrilled to see (after I finished the painting) that my painting matched my napkin. It’s the little things… ;)

the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the

you to leave this world better than when you found it…”
